Started during the era of beepers and cuban links, that halcyon wonderland we call the 1990s, the Ragga Ragga Ragga LPs from Greensleeves were and still are the baddest bashment compilations about.
The Gallowas Riddim made an appearance on the third edition, released back in ’94 and not much has been said about it since, which is a travesty as it is an absolute BLINDER.
There were only three cuts (as far as I know) ever voiced on Gallowas; Mad Cobra’s Hell Swell and Matie A Rebel-referencing Gallowas, Red Dragon’s Sweetheart and the little-known Chuckle Berry with My Sound. Each one goes off as I’m sure you can imagine.
